Berkeley Bob's

I brought my Subaru Forester in for an oil change and was charged $300 — which included a 27-point inspection that their website says is complimentary with service. I had even called ahead to confirm that the inspection was included, and was told it was. But when I arrived, I was charged $300 for just an oil change because it “includes the inspection.” This is misleading and false advertising. I expected transparency and honesty, and I did not receive that here. After picking up my car, it drove dangerously — stalling, jerking, and lagging when I accelerated. I had to return immediately, and was told something had been accidentally disconnected during the inspection. They reattached it, but…

I was referred to Berkeley Bob’s by my former car repair folks because they didn’t work on my new-to-me gently used auto. From the first phone contact Bob’s staff was so friendly and informative. They serviced my car and took lots of time to explain everything. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Sean and the team at Berkeley Bob's take amazing care of my car, every time! From full service oil changes to mystery mechanical issues, they can get to the bottom of whatever is happening with my car and return it to me in excellent condition. I like that I also get a digital vehicle repair update sent to my email with detailed photos and assessments of everything they've inspected. Waiting room also has wifi should you want to get some work done while you wait on your car. So helpful!

Tried Bob's after being disappointed with a few other Audi shops in the area. Bob's did a great job diagnosing and fixing the problems with my ancient Audi. Passed the smog check the next day. I'm a very happy customer. The staff are friendly, helpful and communicative.

The entire team is great. Took care of a clutch job and several other items on our unicorn V70R. Don’t hesitate to reach out to them.
